Refuge – Elton
Elton is a very mild-mannered older gentle-Tzu who came to CSTR in 2012 at the age of 10 years after having been picked up as a stray in Gainesville, FL. Initially, CSTR thought he would be a candidate for Polo’s Refuge, but he was never able to find his “place” in that group, and it became too stressful for him. He’s a very submissive guy who tends to get picked on, so it was decided that he would be safer in the special room with the emotionally damaged Refuge participants. In this environment he has settled in very happily.
Elton is blind but relatively healthy, his only issue currently being dry eye which he takes daily medication for. His monthly expenses, in addition to daily food and treats, are as follows –
Dry eye medication – $15
Heartworm/Flea preventative – $20
