Refuge – JJ

JJ 1.1.15JJ came to Crossroads Shih Tzu Rescue in 2012 at the age of 13 years after being saved from an animal shelter where he was in danger of being euthanized due to his age.  The shelter swore up and down that he was a Shih Tzu mix, but after he arrived in Tallahassee, we discovered that it is more likely that he is not.  But that’s OK because we love him, and he’s settled into his CSTR foster home.

JJ had some joint issues when he came to CSTR, but he has responded well to joint supplements and is doing very well!  His monthly expenses, in addition to daily food and treats, are as follows –

Joint/arthritis supplement – $20
Heartworm/Flea preventative – $20

Crossroads Shih Tzu Rescue is completely dependent upon donations for the care of the dogs who reside at Polo’s Refuge.  Interested in sponsoring all or a portion of JJ’s monthly care?  Click below to set up a monthly recurring donation!
