CSTR Needs Your Help! In order to be able to save the dogs who need us and care for the dogs currently in our program, we have to raise money. And so we need your help! See below for the current ChipIns for dogs needing veterinary services at this time. As we get requests to take dogs into our program or as medical issues come up with dogs already in the program, we will be posting ChipIns to help raise the money needed for their care. You can donate via PayPal or credit card by clicking on the ChipIn buttons or you can mail a check or money order to - CSTR Please help us raise the money to get these dogs the veterinary services they need. Thank you! Intake Sponsorship Needed 2/1/12 - The CSTR FL program is bringing in two senior Shih Tzu girls who came in separately to a Gainesville, FL kill shelter as strays. They are going to need extensive vetting due to eye infections and other health problems, so we need to raise their intake funds. If you can help, we would truly appreciate it.
1/28/12 - CSTR has committed to taking two puppy mill refugees - being released from a mill in Missouri - into our foster program. Tammy Sue, age 8, will need a spay, dental, vaccinations and other vetting. Rusty, age 9 months, is reported to have weight loss issues that the mill owner has been unable to resolve. CSTR is attempting to raise the intake sponsorship amounts for these dogs, so if you can help by donating, we would appreciate it.
If you would like to make a general donation, we can always use help in the General Vet Fund, which is used to pay for unexpected and every day expenses for the dogs in our program, including ongoing eye and other medications, heartworm and flea preventative, food and other day-to-day needs.
