Polo’s Refuge – Lucy
Lucy came to Polo’s Refuge in 2015 at the age of approximately 13 years after being saved from an animal shelter where she was in danger of being euthanized due to her age and condition. She’s a sweet, rotund girl who has adjusted to life at Polo’s Refuge very quickly. It’s very obvious that she was very overfed in her previous home, and so she is currently on the CSTR weight loss program!
Lucy has severe dry eye in both eyes and so takes daily medications to help keep it under control. Her expenses are as follows –
Dry eye meds – $55
Heartworm/Flea preventative – $20
